Joyful "blended family" phone call
Since I named this blog, "Happy Blended Family" I feel I should tell as much as I can about how my blended family is working these days. One thing that has been making me so happy the last couple of weeks, is that my two oldest grandsons have been wanting to go to church with me. This is a "new" thing, and an answer to many years of prayer. I just wanted to write this to encourage any of you out there who feeling like your step-kids don't really want to go to church with you. Keep praying. God is so faithful, and will answer your prayers for your blended family. I Corinthians 1:9 "God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord." Believe. Hope. Trust.

Just got home from attending church with my step-daughter, her husband, and three children from three different marriages. What a blessing to have ONE thing in common, the Lord Jesus Christ - He blends the families into one unity - with His Strength, His love and His hope! With Him, all things are possible! Mark 10:27
ReplyDeleteTonight I was able to bring one of my step-grandsons to church where I attend. He really loved it. We talked on the way home about how the Lord brings people together, and that no sorrow or loss is without His knowledge and love for us. I am praying for these newly added grandchildren that I can show Jesus to each one of them. They have all been through many changes of homes, especially the one who went to church with me tonight. It is a blessing to be a part of leading him to the Lord Jesus.
